My teaching background:
I have enjoyed teaching online EFL classes because I encounter a wide range of international students desiring to learn English. I have worked with white-collar professionals, collegiate-level, and world travelers over the last six years. I prefer working with adult learners because they have so many life experiences and developed language skills, which provides great common experiences to share in a language learning context. I like to provide students with lessons to help them improve in areas such as improving the correct use of irregular past participle verb pronunciation, developing vocabulary range using synonyms, learning idioms in context, and increasing comprehension skills with reading and discussion. I also provide relevant corrective instruction to help students overcome language learning challenges such as better understanding homonyms and homophones through context. Students should always feel free to ask questions!
My background outside of teaching:

My contract experience includes database programming, desktop publishing, administrative support, project management support, and customer service support. for both the private and public sectors.
