My teaching background:
I began teaching English in 2010 when I moved to China, giving me over 14 years of teaching experience! I’ve worked with students aged 4 to 60 in diverse settings, including language schools, primary and secondary schools, universities, and private tutoring. While I’ve enjoyed working with all ages, teaching adults has always been my favorite. In 2016, I transitioned to teaching English online, combining my love for teaching with my passion for travel. For the past eight years, I’ve been a full-time digital nomad, teaching students worldwide and exploring different cultures. I especially enjoy working with students who share my love for cultural exchange and new experiences. If that sounds like you, book a class—I’d love to hear your favorite travel stories and help you achieve your English goals!
My background outside of teaching:
I’m a fun-loving, traveling teacher from the USA with a bachelor’s degree in Music Industry Studies and a minor in Business (2008). My passion for travel has taken me around the globe! I’m a huge music fan and love going to concerts—I even met my husband at a music festival. In 2013, we started a travel blog to document our gap year, quitting our jobs and traveling nonstop for 14 months. Since 2016, we’ve been full-time digital nomads, exploring the world while working remotely. I’m deeply passionate about growth and self-development, and I’m fascinated by astrology and personality types—anything that helps us better understand ourselves and others. If you love travel and cultural exchange as much as I do, let’s connect in class and share our unique experiences!
