Bio:
My Teaching Method is called the Natural Approach that focuses on language acquisition in a natural and effective way, similar to how children learn their native language. I chose this method because it destroys everything that negatively impacts learning. For me, the most important thing is not conjugating the verb correctly, but being able to express your feelings, emotions, and ideas with confidence and ease.
My teaching methodology:
After a careful evaluation of your specific case and after we outline a study plan tailored to your needs, the lessons will focus on helping you overcome the fear of speaking and communicating in Italian. Grammar is taught using an inductive approach which means you apply it first, and then we explain it. This method has a medium- to long-term goal: making sure you truly internalize the grammar and dont forget it after just a month. For evaluation, I prefer informal, ongoing assessment through conversation, written assignments, and comprehension exercises. I also use quizzes or short tests when needed to track progress more clearly. I like to keep feedback constructive and encouraging to help students stay motivated. Above all, I design activities that make the language feel real and useful simulating everyday situations, exploring Italian culture, and building confidence through practice.
My teaching background:
I have 3 years of experience teaching Italian online. My classes are like miniature worlds where we all share the same passion for the Italian language. I work with adults, children, and teenagers, adapting my teaching method to each individual. Remember, you are the main character in our class, so our lessons will be personalized and tailor-made just for you.
My background outside of teaching:
Aside from Teaching Italian, I work as a language and cultural mediator in the field of immigration at center for refugee centre. My role is to support people in their integration process and offer them a new chance at life by assisting them with documentation and helping them adjust to life outside the center. And what about Italian? Language plays a key role in this context. It's essential in my job to emphasize the acquisition of Italian to support smoother and more effective integration
